InkToBrain started inside a working back office — the kind of business most businesses are: one that runs on documents. Policies, procedure manuals, fee schedules, onboarding guides, contracts. The documents held the answers; finding the right paragraph was somebody's whole afternoon, and the answer they found stayed in one person's head.

So we built the tool we needed: a library that answers questions from its own shelves and names the document and section every answer came from. The office used it daily and kept asking it for more — projects with shared conversations, locations that keep two branches' work apart, budgets per person, agents taught from specific shelves. What began as an internal tool is now offered to every document-heavy business: accountancies, law firms, agencies, contractors, logistics operators, clinics, schools, manufacturers, nonprofits.

What we believe

• Your documents stay yours. Each customer runs their own instance, on infrastructure they control. Leaving is an export, not a negotiation.
• Every answer shows its source. An answer you cannot check is a rumor with good formatting.
• AI is labelled, never smuggled. When an answer draws on a model's own knowledge rather than your documents, it says so — on screen, in a different color.
• No trackers. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics. We would rather know less about our visitors and be trusted with more by our customers.

InkToBrain ships continuously — the changelog is the honest record. Today it covers document libraries with cited answers, team projects and locations, per-person budgets and model assignment, taught agents, mail and drive connectors, and encrypted nightly backups.
